It's not all over yet

As the world, the country, and especially our particular slice of paradise on the Central Coast moves towards opening up again, my wizened elephant winks at me. “Don’t even begin to think that your writing will return to normal. Just wait, I will grow again and suck out your creativity once more.” Indeed as he spoke he seems to have grown just that little bit more. Even this week’s lifting of restrictions has had my heart beating slightly faster. “Are we ready?” With the public holiday yesterday, we had no writers’ meeting and my productivity this week has sunk as my elephant has grown again.
